Seeing the Hereafter in a dream is a portent that very auspicious events or circumstances will be experienced. It means that you will do something which you have wished to do for a long time but have been unable to do, or that you will finally acquire something of material value which you have long wished to purchase but could not. In other words, it is interpreted as attaining every kind of thing desired in the life of this world.

What does it mean to see the Hereafter in a dream? It signifies that the dreamer is pure-hearted, kind-hearted, one who performs good deeds, and charitable in the worldly life, and therefore will be rewarded materially in this world; and, at the same time, because he has attained peace of heart, he will experience spiritual ease. According to some scholars, seeing the Hereafter in a dream is a portent of a revival following a defeat or a disappointment, brought about by the effects of these adversities, and of beginning anew from the very beginning with a clean page, again and in the finest manner.

Seeing the Hereafter in a dream shows that the dreamer is a strong and powerful person, of a constitution not easily overthrown.

To give an account in the Hereafter in a dream signifies that the person who saw the dream has not consumed the rights of others in the life of this world, has no account in his life which he cannot render, that his heart is pure and his path is open. It indicates that the dreamer fears departing from this world after having violated the rights of others. Whoever sees himself weeping while giving an account in the Hereafter will attain peace both in this world and in the Hereafter, and no evil will befall him in this world.

It signifies that the sustenance of the person who saw the dream will increase and that he will possess lawful and auspicious worldly goods. Some scholars have interpreted those who pray in the Hereafter in their dreams as possessing, or coming to possess, a healing hand in real life.

If the dreamer is praying in the Hereafter accompanied by a congregation, it indicates that he will soon receive great support from his family or close circle, and thereby advance in his work; and, if he is unmarried, it signifies that he will be married to a match found by someone in his close circle.

Receiving news from the Hereafter in a dream is a portent that the dreamer is a person of very strong spirituality and sound in religion. It is interpreted as meaning that the person who saw the dream values the life of the Hereafter as much as this world and is therefore a good and righteous person. It even indicates that in his daily life he gives useful counsel to those around him, guides them, and helps people distinguish good from evil.

According to some scholars, however, seeing in a dream that one has received news from the Hereafter is interpreted as indicating that such a person must take care in his worldly life and that there are matters in his life which are not proceeding aright.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
