Being an Ascetic

Interpretations of Tiflis; Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): There are four interpretations of seeing in a dream that you have become an ascetic:

1—Turning away from the world,

2—Seclusion,

3—Being occupied with worship at all times,

4—Coveting nothing from anyone.

Ibn Sirin: Seeing in a dream that you have become an ascetic and are sitting together with ascetics in a dervish lodge indicates that you will abandon worldly affairs and turn toward matters of the Hereafter. Seeing in a dream that you leave the same place and go outside indicates that you will become devoted to worldly things.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
