Allamah Majlisi: To see in a dream that you have cut someone’s throat indicates that you will cause that person distress.

Ibn Sirin: To see in a dream that one’s neck has been struck and one’s head has become separated from one’s body indicates, for one who is imprisoned, that he will be set free; for the sick, recovery; if you are in debt, that your debt will be paid; and that you will perform the pilgrimage. However, if an unbeliever sees the same dream, it indicates that he will become a Muslim.

To see in a dream that one’s neck has been struck, but that one’s head has not become separated from one’s body, indicates that the things mentioned above will come to pass through the hand of the person who struck you. In short, to strike the neck in a dream is a sign of good for the poor and of evil for the rich.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
