Being Buried

If a person sees in a dream that he has died and been buried, he will set out on a distant journey and be deprived of attaining wealth there. Whoever sees that he has been buried alive in a grave without dying—if he does not know the person who buried him—that man will reveal his oppression against the dreamer. Or he will speak ill of him or imprison him. If he sees that he died after entering the grave, he will die because of that oppression inflicted upon him. If he does not die, he will be delivered from the aforementioned oppression and griefs, or from imprisonment.

If a person sees in a dream that he has been thrown into a grave, that person will cast the dreamer into danger or into something whose outcome is dangerous. Whoever sees that he has been placed in the niche of a grave will acquire a house. If he sees that soil has also been poured over him, it signifies wealth in the measure of that soil.

Some interpreters said: If a person is buried in a dream, his religion will become false; but if he is brought out of his grave after being buried, the dream contains no indication of evil. If he sees soil being scattered over him, it signifies that the person is despairing of repentance and deprived of it.

For a person to see in a dream that he has been buried although he has not died is not good for anyone. The burial of a person in a dream after the sun has risen, or after midday, or after the sun has set, signifies commanding evil and forbidding good.

In a dream, a living man burying a living man signifies deception. Sometimes this dream signifies the buried person’s passing from poverty to wealth, from bachelorhood to marriage, and from discord to companionship and affection.

The dead burying a living person in a dream signifies that he will incur debt in his present condition. The dead being buried a second time signifies that his faults, which exceeded the proper bounds, will be forgiven. The dead burying the dead signifies the joining together of sincerity and friendship among relatives. Sometimes burial is interpreted as imprisonment, illness, marriage, a trust, or a pledge.

If a person sees in a dream that he has died or been buried, his death will occur without his having repented. If he sees himself emerging from the grave, he will repent and seek forgiveness. Some have said that burial signifies marriage. Whoever sees that he has been buried without dying will be imprisoned and constrained.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
