Being Held Under Surveillance

Sayyid Sulayman: To see in a dream that one is under house arrest is good.

To see in a dream that one is being held under house arrest in one’s own home is very good. Likewise, to be released from house arrest is auspicious.

Some interpreters have interpreted this dream as signifying guards and protection. Here, the conduct of those who take one into custody should be taken into consideration. If those who place the dreamer under house arrest are good-looking and well-mannered men, the dream is good. However, if the conduct of these persons is harsh and hurtful, this dream does not signify good.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, spiritual signs, home and environment, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
