Upper Arm
To see the upper arm in a dream signifies a brother, an adult child, or someone in whom one places trust. The breaking of the arm signifies calamity. Seeing a strong arm denotes wealth, a trustworthy brother or friend, and advancement in one’s profession. Shortness of the arm denotes deficient understanding and excessive lying.
The interpretation of seeing the upper arm in a dream is generally given as male children. This may be a male son, as well as a brother or nephew. According to one account, seeing the upper arm also signifies material or spiritual debts that will be paid. The upper arm is also interpreted as glory, honor, and renown.
According to another account: The upper arm seen in a dream is a brother, a grown child, or a person who is trusted. Any deficiency seen in the upper arm is an indication of a calamity that will occur to the extent of that deficiency.
If a person sees in a dream that his arm has been broken, it is an indication that he will die, or of a calamity that will befall him on account of sorrow, grief, or some affliction. The arm signifies the wife in whom a person places his trust in the affairs of religion and the world, or things that he guards, such as a debt.
If a person sees in a dream that his arm is strong, that strength is the strength of his brother or of his wealth. The strength of the arm also signifies advancement in one’s profession. Some interpreters said that the upper arm signifies a child who has reached maturity and will assist the dreamer, or a brother who will come to his aid in his time of distress.
If a person sees in a dream that his arm is deficient, that person will have little understanding and much lying.
