Winking

To see in a dream that one winks at someone, or that someone winks at oneself, is interpreted in three ways: a secret affair, mockery, and calamity.

To see in a dream that an old woman winks at oneself signifies that the world will smile upon him; to see oneself winking at an old woman signifies that he is attached to the world; to see oneself winking at a young woman signifies that he is lustful; and to see a young woman winking at oneself signifies that he will be unable to restrain his lower self.

To see in a dream that everyone in a gathering is winking at one another signifies that a secret affair is taking place among the people; winking at a known person signifies expecting assistance from him; to see a known man winking at oneself signifies that one’s affairs will be set right on account of that person; and to wink at an unknown person, and for that person to wink at oneself, signifies that the dreamer is looking at a man mockingly, or that a man is looking at the dreamer in a mocking manner.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
