Broker

Seeing a broker in a dream is a symbol that bears both the aspect of opportunity and that of trial. The principal emphasis is gathered around duties, the order of work, and responsibility; therefore, the dream should be interpreted according to the person’s feeling toward that symbol rather than according to the outward appearance of the event.

Ibn Sîrîn: Seeing a broker in a dream indicates one who mediates either good or evil. It may also signify a marriage broker or one who mediates in an evil deed. An unknown broker who comes to a sick person indicates the Angel of Death.

Ibn Sîrîn: Seeing termites in a dream indicates jealousy, envy, disloyalty, rivalry in knowledge, or seeking argument. Seeing termites eating a handbag or from a cane indicates death. Termites also indicate a slanderous swindler who takes commissions by directing wealthy people toward bad investments. If a sick person sees termites in his house or attached to his skin, this likewise means death. The eating of a wooden door, table, or bed by termites in a dream indicates illness. Termites also signify having little income and a large family.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
