Brush

Seeing a brush in a dream is interpreted as error. To see in a dream that one’s garment is being brushed by someone indicates that one is being criticized because of the work one has done; to see oneself brushing another person’s garment indicates that a task commissioned by someone else has not been carried out as desired.

To see oneself combing one’s hair with a brush in a dream means that one will experience certain troubles because of an error one has committed. If one is using an old brush, it means that one will fall ill. If one sees many brushes together, it means that many opportunities for work will appear before one. They are small, minor opportunities. If dust rises while brushing, the person must change his course.

To see a clean brush in a dream indicates that one will receive good news, that one’s heart will be filled with hope through this news, and that one will also spread hope around oneself.

To see a dirty brush, or one whose bristles are missing or broken, indicates the presence of an envious person who seeks to soil one’s work with evil words and to wear one down.

To see a wooden brush in a dream is an indication that a person who, in former days, intended to harm one will, in time, fall into the pit he himself dug. To see a plastic brush indicates that one will settle a matter with ease.

To see a metal brush in a dream indicates that one possesses methods and tools for accomplishing a task which do not become worn out or deteriorate.

To throw a brush in a dream indicates that one will befriend a person who will come to regret what he has done.

To buy a brush in a dream indicates that a matter of one’s affairs which had suffered loss will enter a very favorable period, and that one too will benefit from this situation.

To see a hairbrush in a dream indicates a laborious task in which one will be obliged to sweep one’s hair.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, emotional life, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
