Castle Wall

Sayyid Sulayman: To see a fortress rampart, that is, a castle wall, in a dream is interpreted as the ruler, his deputies, the judge, and the Islamic Sharia.

The destruction of a country’s rampart or castle wall in a dream signifies the death of the sovereign of that country, that they will act with flexibility in the application of religious rulings, and that public security will diminish.

The severing of a section from the rampart in a dream signifies the death of one charged with a duty in the service of the state. The construction of a new rampart means a new sovereign and justice. The repair of certain parts of the rampart in a dream signifies a new governor and, at the same time, the application of some religious rulings in certain matters.

Kirmani said: The rampart on the right side of a city and those near it are interpreted as the ruler; those on its left side, as the governor; and the parts of the rampart distant from the town, as security and tranquillity in one’s way of life.

The rampart at the rear of the city represents the wife; things connected with the rampart, whether near or far, represent the children. The battlements upon the castle wall are its notables, while the loopholes are its women. The dream is interpreted accordingly.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, emotional life, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
