To see cattle in a dream signifies advancement from one’s present condition, property, and honour. A fat and well-fed cow signifies a pious woman, cheapness, and abundance; a lean and weak cow signifies famine and hardship; and to see oneself buying the meat of a fat cow signifies marrying a wealthy woman or obtaining worldly goods from one’s spouse.

To see a pregnant cow in a dream signifies that one’s wife will become pregnant, or that it will be a year in which abundance and cheapness prevail. To milk a cow and drink its milk signifies wealth, increase in property, dignity, and honour.

To see oneself merely milking a cow signifies accumulating property without spending from it; the cow entering towards oneself signifies a blessed year, while its moving away signifies a year that will not be auspicious. (To see an ox or cow scratching one signifies illness; one of them leaping upon a person signifies severity and sorrow; and its biting and striking with its horns signifies treachery and harm to be suffered from the people of one’s household.

To see the horns of cattle or oxen in a dream signifies attaining abundant property, improvement in one’s condition, and being remembered by a good name; to see cattle or an ox in a tree, or to see them biting, signifies having committed many sins; to see a cow enter the house and gore oneself signifies suffering loss and damage, and not being secure among one’s family and relatives; and the meat and milk of cattle signify property and prosperity, excellence in religion, and recovery from illness.

To see the inner fat of cattle in a dream signifies cheapness, abundance, and property, while its hide signifies property. Cattle signify land that has been ploughed with great productivity; to see oneself riding a fat cow signifies wealth; riding a thin one signifies poverty; and riding a cow sometimes signifies marriage or the death of one’s wife.

To see oneself having sexual intercourse with a cow signifies a year in which unbelievable abundance will be experienced; a herd of cattle signifies that affairs will become difficult.

It means that you will live a very beautiful life and receive the recompense for the efforts you have made. Eating cattle meat is interpreted as earning a great deal of money through lawful means.

To see healthy cattle in a dream is a sign of prosperity and wealth. If you see a weak cow, it means that, because of your erroneous attitude, you will work heavily throughout your life. To see a well-fed and healthy cow signifies abundance.

It is interpreted as property. To see oneself slaughtering a cow and distributing its meat signifies that you will undertake a beneficial deed and that your fortune will open; to see oneself milking a cow signifies acquiring lawful property from another person.

According to another narration: The cattle seen in a dream signify good things. A black and yellow cow signifies a year of joy, abundance, and cheapness. The whiteness on the head of a cow signifies severity at the beginning of the year; the mottling on its back signifies severity in the middle of the year; and the whiteness on its haunches signifies severity and toil at the end of the year.

To see fat cattle in a dream signifies years of cheapness and abundance; weak and feeble cattle signify years of famine. To see oneself eating cattle meat is an expression of lawful property acquired during that year. It has been said that cattle signify elevation, property, honour, cheapness, and abundance. If the cattle seen are greasy and fat, they signify a pious woman. If the cow is horned, it signifies a woman who prevents her husband and feels hatred towards him. If milk is drawn from the cow, it signifies a beneficial and virtuous woman.

Milking a cow in a dream signifies a woman who detests her husband. If one sees another person milking that cow, but the cow does not prevent him, the person who milks it will betray the dreamer’s wife.

To see the belly and paunch of a cow in a dream signifies property and sustenance of little value during that year, as well as abundance. Whoever sees that a cow is pregnant, his wife will become pregnant. Whoever sees that he has bought a cow will be appointed as an official in a newly established institution. If one sees in his own house a cow suckling its calf, it signifies a woman who acts as a procurer for his own daughter.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has found a cow will learn a craft from an honourable person. If he is unmarried, he will marry a blessed woman. If a person sees that he has been given cow’s milk, he will marry a well-mannered, righteous, and honourable woman. Or he will be granted sovereignty and authority. Whoever sees himself riding a known cow will attain wealth and riches, and will be delivered from anxiety and sorrow.

If one sees in a dream that a cow has entered his house and gored him, he will suffer loss and damage, and will remain insecure among his family and relatives.

Whoever sees the horn of an ox or cow in a dream will possess great property and his condition will improve. He will be remembered among the people by a good name.

If one sees himself striking an ox or cow with a stick, it signifies that he is among those who possess many sins in the sight of Allah. If he sees himself biting them, the interpretation is likewise the same. If he sees an ox or cow scratching him, he will be ill to the extent of the scratching inflicted by the cow. (To see a cow leaping upon oneself in a dream signifies that severity and torment will reach the dreamer, and there is fear that he may be killed. Whoever sees an ox fall upon him will die during that year. Whoever sees himself riding a black cow, or sees a cow enter his house and bind him to his house, will receive joy, goodness, and beneficence, and anxiety, distress, grief, and dread will depart from him.

What it means to see cattle in a dream is good for everyone. To see cattle gathered in one place signifies anguish; their raising their voices and bellowing signifies certain indecent, well-known people. A completely skinned cow signifies a calamity among relatives; a cow skinned halfway signifies a calamity affecting a sister or daughter; a cow skinned to one-quarter signifies a calamity affecting one’s wife; and if less than one-quarter is skinned, it signifies a calamity among other relatives.

To see a pregnant cow in a dream signifies a year in which abundance and cheapness are hoped for. Whoever sees himself milking a cow and drinking its milk, if he is poor, will become wealthy, and his dignity and honour will rise. If he is wealthy, his wealth and honour will increase. If a male or female calf is given to someone in a dream, a child will be born to him. (If a person sees in a dream a herd of ownerless and unknown cattle, whether they are in front or behind, or if those cattle enter or leave a place, then, if the colour of those cattle is uniformly yellow or red, it signifies an illness that will appear in that locality; if their colours are varied, it again signifies years.

If one sees that he owns a cow in a dream, it signifies a year of cheapness and abundance; if the cow is pregnant, it signifies that cheapness and abundance will be even greater. If a person sees himself holding a cow with a rope, he will marry a woman of good character and religious devotion.

To see oneself riding a cow in a dream signifies that the dreamer’s wife will die and that he will inherit from her. Some interpreters have said that the person will marry. Whoever sees himself eating the meat or drinking the milk of cattle will attain property and prosperity and perfection in religion. If he is ill, Allah will grant him healing.

Whoever sees himself eating the inner fat of cattle in a dream will attain cheapness, abundance, and blessing. Whoever eats cattle fat will have an increase in his property. Whoever sees that cattle hides have been given to him will receive property from the sultan or one of the sultan’s officials.

Whoever sees that he has taken cattle hides from another person will be obliged to pay property to the sultan. If he sees that he possesses several cattle hides, property will come into his hands from the sultan or from an honourable person. Sometimes a yellow cow signifies evil and severity on account of an inheritance. Cattle also signify a beautifully cultivated land. To see the cow mentioned in Surat al-Baqarah signifies, for the one who possesses it, tribulation on account of slaughtering it, or that a portent will appear in the city where the dreamer saw that cow. If the dreamer is disobedient to his mother, he will obey her. Whoever sees himself slaughtering a wild cow will acquire property through a beautiful woman. .

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
