Strangulation

Ibn Sirin: If a person sees in a dream that he strangles himself with his own hands or hangs himself with a rope tied to the ceiling, this indicates that he is suffering from depression, distress, or sorrow. It may also indicate that he will not remain in his present house or will not reside in the place where he saw himself suffocating. The same interpretation applies to seeing oneself out of breath or in a state of suffocation.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of general meaning, inner intuition, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concluded in the dream should be evaluated together.
