Rampart
To see a rampart in a dream signifies the mujahids fighting in the way of Allah, a possessor of majesty who is the ruler of the state, or other state governors possessing these qualities; a rampart sometimes signifies eminent scholars and saints, the Sacred Law that distinguishes truth from falsehood, and great joy.
To see the great street and city gates closed during the daytime in a dream signifies unpleasant circumstances that will arise there; entering through these gates signifies good commerce, craft, and sustenance; to see these gates open signifies entering into a matter.
To be upon the fortresses, castles, and ramparts of a city in a dream signifies being safe from what one fears and attaining what one hopes for; the negative things seen in these places signify negative things that will be seen in persons of rank.

To see the rampart of a castle in a dream is interpreted as the ruler of the state or the Islamic Sacred Law. To see the rampart of a castle collapse signifies the death of the notable ruler of that place, that religion and the Sacred Law will not proceed aright, and that security and public order in that place will diminish; to see a piece of the rampart torn away signifies the death of one of the notables of that place.
To see a new rampart being built in a dream signifies that there will be a great statesman in that place; to see some parts of the rampart being repaired signifies that a new governor will come to that place.
According to another narration: The rampart seen in a dream signifies the mujahids who wage jihad in the way of Allah (C.C.), or the ruler and protector of the city. At times, the rampart also signifies an ascetic or a learned man of that city, the Sacred Law that separates truth from falsehood, and sometimes joy.
If a person sees in a dream that he is in one of the ramparts, he becomes safe from his enemy and from what he fears. If a person sees in a dream that the towers of a city have collapsed, the governor and protector of that city dies or is removed from his office.
If a person sees in a dream that a breach has appeared in the tower or rampart of a city, and even that a lion, a flood, or thieves have entered the city through that breach, it signifies the weakening of Islam in that city and the lack of currency of knowledge.
To see an unknown tower and rampart in a dream signifies Islam, knowledge, the Qur’an, wealth, security, piety, and everything by which one is protected from the world and enemies; it also signifies a wife, armor, a sayyid, and a father. If a person sees in a dream that the towers and ramparts of the city walk like animals, the sultan travels, because of one of his affairs, in the direction in which that tower and rampart has walked.
To see the ramparts of a city in a dream signifies a trustee and a judge; when it signifies these, the high places of its wall are the judge’s and trustee’s erbaa and servants. The high places of the ramparts signify becoming informed of the enemy’s condition. If the rampart of the city signifies wealth, its towers are the guardians of that wealth. If the rampart of the city signifies a king, the towers of that rampart are the king’s preparations, weapons, and grain.
