Burdah in a Dream

Dream Dictionary / C / Burdah

B
Seeing in a Dream

Burdah

Burd: A kind of garment well known among the Arabs. It is more commonly used in the expression “Burd of Yemen.” A mantle or an abaya is also called a burd.

Nabulsi’s Dream Interpretations: Seeing this garment in a dream indicates attaining goodness in this world and the Hereafter. The finest garment is the kind called “Burd al-Hibrah.” The interpretation of such garments in a dream is better than that of wool. Garments made of striped and banded cloth are good in worldly terms, while garments made of wool are good in religious terms.

Seeing in a dream a burd made of silk means unlawful property; whereas a burd made of cotton signifies property valuable in both religion and worldly life.

Positive Meaning

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Shadow Meaning

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

Advice

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
