Cold and Hot

To see hot weather in a dream is interpreted as grief and sorrow; whereas cold weather is interpreted as hardship, pain, and torment. To see that any part of one’s body has frozen from the cold is a sign of death, or that one of one’s companions will pass away. To see cold in winter that is not excessive is not interpreted as an evil. The same applies to moderate warmth in summertime. Whoever sees himself distressed by the heat of the sun and taking refuge in the shade shall be delivered from sadness and sorrow.

Whoever sees himself going out into the sun and warming himself because he is cold in the shade, if he is poor, shall be delivered from poverty. To catch cold and become ill in a dream is a sign of poverty. To see oneself taking refuge in a fire for protection from the cold indicates that one will enter the service of the government; warming oneself at a glowing fire indicates coveting the property of an orphan; and warming oneself with smoke indicates that one will cast himself into a great calamity.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
