Collapsed Walls

Ibn Sīrīn: To see in a dream that the walls of one’s house have collapsed because of a flood indicates the death of one’s spouse. To see them collapse upon one’s house and raise up a great cloud of dust indicates that one may contract measles. To see a ceiling collapsing in a dream indicates destruction. To see a ruined house rise upright again indicates the spiritual awakening of its owner. If a person is awaiting the return of one of his family members or a guest, and a part of his house collapses, this indicates that the traveler will arrive soon. If a girl, a sister, or another woman lives in that house, it indicates that the arriving guest will wish to marry her.

To see in a dream that a hurricane has destroyed one’s entire house indicates that deaths will occur in that place at the hands of a tyrant. To see oneself demolishing an old house or structure indicates evil. If a woman sees the walls collapse upon her, it indicates the death of her husband.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
