Deceit

If a person sees himself as deceitful in a dream, he will feel remorse on account of his own actions.

To see in a dream that someone has deceived you in some matter signifies that certain people will give you counsel concerning a task you are about to undertake.

To see that you are sitting and speaking with a deceiver, and that he explains to you how certain acts of deceit are carried out, is a sign that the businessmen around you are not honest and that you must beware of their conduct.

According to another narration: To see in a dream that someone has deceived you in some matter is interpreted as certain people giving you counsel.

To deceive someone in a dream, however, signifies finding a remedy for the person who has been deceived concerning one of his difficulties.

Ibn Sirin: A chisel in a dream signifies using a means or an assistant in order to reach one’s objective; or it may represent a person who is compelled to travel because of involuntary circumstances, or who is made to travel against his will. A chisel in a dream also represents a person whose wounds do not heal easily on account of his greed, injustice, and desire for more. The chisel may also represent one’s assistant, one’s male organ, or one’s mouth.

Ibn Sirin: To see deceit in a dream signifies deception and precaution.
