To see people engaged in the remembrance of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), or to see oneself personally engaged in His remembrance, indicates that one shall attain success among them at all times and in every matter, that one’s prayers shall be accepted, and that one shall be held in esteem by everyone.

Ibn Sîrîn: To see oneself in a gathering engaged in the remembrance of Allah Most High, while invoking Allah’s Most Beautiful Names, mentioning His Divine Attributes, reciting the Qur’an, or chanting hymns, indicates that such a place shall be built as a sacred site for celebrating the praise of Allah. The goodness of that place depends upon the quality of the recitation or the degree of devotion seen in the dream. If a hymn containing ascetic and pious themes is being recited in the dream, it indicates that the person’s stewardship has been rightly established; if a song of passionate love is being sung, it indicates seditions and tribulations. To see oneself repeatedly invoking the Name of Allah indicates that one shall gain victory over one’s enemy.

Calling people to Allah and reminding them of His Attributes represents the work of a preacher who counsels people, conveys them to the shore of salvation, and keeps them away from their sins. For a merchant to see himself invoking Allah’s Most Beautiful Names indicates that his business shall be delivered from bankruptcy. For an unbeliever, a profligate, or a secular person to see himself remembering Allah indicates that he may fall ill or encounter great troubles; inwardly, he shall continue to beseech Allah for mercy and deliverance, while among the people he shall conceal his inner faith in silence, fearing ridicule.

If he speaks words of truth and wisdom in his dream, it indicates that he shall be delivered from his distress, recover from his illness, pass into a more comfortable life, and begin a life of sharing and goodness in this world; or that he shall attain guidance and light, and that his heart shall be filled with faith. To see oneself performing the prayer while reciting it in one’s accent indicates that one shall remain in difficulty and that people shall mock him.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
