Enjoining Good

To see enjoining what is right in a dream—that is, commanding people to perform the prayer and to utter the profession of faith, or preaching and admonishing people—is an indication of faith in Allah and of fulfilling His (Almighty’s) due. It is an indication that one who is qualified shall become a governor, and that one authorized to pass judgment shall become a judge.

If one sees in a dream that he has poured out raki and wine, broken a tambourine, or done things of this kind, these are an indication of faith and of inviting those who commit such acts to faith. At times, this dream also indicates the emergence of a matter in which patience is required.

To command evil in a dream is an indication of commanding what is wrong, forbidding what is good, and schism.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, spiritual signs, home and environment, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
