Entering Houses and Similar Places

To see oneself entering Hell and subsequently emerging from it is a warning for that person to repent of the evil condition in which he is immersed. Such dreams are seen by those who persistently commit sins.

If one who enters Paradise in a dream is an unbeliever, he will become a Muslim; if he is unmarried, he will enter the house of marriage. If he is poor, he will be delivered from that condition.

Some interpreters have said that this dream indicates that the person awaits in hope that the good deed he has performed or will perform shall be accepted. It denotes worship performed with good intent and gracious conversation with people.

If a person sees in a dream that he has entered a house far removed from houses and buildings, standing alone, whose structure, location, and inhabitants are unknown—especially if there are certain deceased persons whom he knows in that house—it indicates that the house is his own and that his appointed time has come.

To enter a street or a marketplace in a dream is interpreted as striving and exerting oneself in pursuit of sustenance.

To enter a house in a dream indicates marrying or desiring to marry.

To enter a mosque in a dream denotes purification from sins; to enter a church denotes tolerance in religion.

Positive Meaning

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Advice

In the interpretation, the themes of home and environment, work and responsibility, success and reputation, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
