In a dream, leaving something in trust with someone signifies revealing one’s secrets to him and sharing a part of oneself with another person. It is a human condition; however, one should be cautious about sharing secrets with those who may take advantage of one’s weaknesses.

In a dream, for a person to give something in trust to his own spouse and for his spouse to safeguard it signifies that she will become pregnant; returning the trust he received signifies that she will not become pregnant.

In a dream, having a living soul entrusted to oneself is sometimes a message concerning the human being and the purpose of his creation, and that he must fulfill this purpose properly.

For someone, in a dream, to leave his trust with a dead person signifies that he will tell his secret to someone who will conceal it and not disclose it. At times, this dream signifies the trust’s being lost and destroyed. That is, sharing his secret will neither relieve him nor cure his distress. The interpretation is the same if, in a dream, he leaves the trust with an animal.

For someone, in a dream, to leave his trust with a person unfit to safeguard it signifies that he will tell his secret to someone who will disclose it.

For someone, in a dream, to see that he has left his wallet in trust with a man signifies that he will tell that man his secrets.

Some interpreters said: If a person has someone with whom he is at war, then the one to whom the trust is entrusted is victorious, while the one who leaves the trust is defeated.

If a person sees in a dream that he has entrusted someone he loves to another person, it is interpreted to mean that he will henceforth be obliged to distance himself from that person; this will grieve him, but in time he will become accustomed to it.

Ibn Sirin: Seeing a trust in a dream signifies a secret and security. Seeing that one has delivered the trust to its owner signifies keeping one’s word.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
