To see in a dream that one has dismissed someone from employment signifies changing one’s profession, becoming estranged from one’s spouse as a result of a tension that will arise between you, fulfilling a promise given, and not withdrawing from an agreement.

To see in a dream that one has oneself been dismissed from employment signifies that one’s affairs will become even better and stronger. Being dismissed from employment is also interpreted as attaining the desired civil-service post.

According to Kirmani: If a person of eminence sees that he has been dismissed from his employment, this dream is interpreted in two ways: deceitfulness in his religion and ineffectuality in the work he performs.

According to Jabir al-Maghribi: To see that a man who works honestly in his employment has been dismissed is not a sign of good. The dismissal of a man who is not competent in his work, however, signifies that he will enter another employment.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
