Coined Gold

In a dream, old coined gold signifies sincerity, religion, and knowledge. A single gold coin is a child of handsome countenance. A number of gold coins signify buried wealth, wisdom, sainthood, and testimony. Whoever sees that he has lost one gold coin, his child will die, or he will abandon his obligatory prayers. Gold and silver are the seal of Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He), the arrow of Satan, and the need and dependence of people upon it. Gold that he carries into his house in loads indicates wealth that will be brought into his house.

Gold that a person distributes among the people in a dream indicates money that he will distribute to them as loans. Gold that is not of full weight signifies a debt that is false. Gold plated on its surface indicates the smallness of the debt and falsehoods.

To scatter gold upon someone in a dream indicates hearing evil and false words. Five gold coins signify the five daily prayers. Therefore, whoever sees that he has lost one gold coin has abandoned one prayer. Whoever sees that he is holding one gold coin will betray a trust. It has been related that Ibn Sirin interpreted gold coins as a book, because both sides of gold are inscribed. At times, gold coins also indicate a hypocritical person among people, or a friend who can agree with no one.

It has been said that a person’s giving gold coins to another in a dream indicates the removal of grief and sorrow from that person, without anything being lost from him. If he takes the gold coins in the dream, then that person accepts something entrusted to him. Whoever sees that he has come upon known gold coins will suffer grief and sorrow in an amount corresponding to the number of the gold coins. If the number of the gold coins is unknown, the grief and sorrow will be severe.

If a person sees in a dream that an engraved gold coin has been given to him, evil will befall him from someone of his family or spouse whom he considers important. Whoever sees that a dead person gives him gold will be delivered from oppression. Whoever sees that he gives something to the dead, but the dead person does not take it, let him fear committing oppression or being oppressed.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
