Kindness

If a person performs an act of kindness, it means that he shall rejoice. As for one who receives kindness, it means that he shall gain a steadfast and valuable friend.

To see in one’s dream that one has shown kindness to a fallen person is good. To perform an act of kindness in a dream, especially if it is done toward an enemy, is exceedingly auspicious. It signifies victory and superiority. According to some interpreters, to see that one has shown kindness in a dream signifies kindheartedness, strength in religion, and deliverance from the torment of the Hereafter.

Whoever sees in his dream that he has shown kindness has found a way to enter Paradise. According to another narration: The kindness seen in a dream is according to the amount of the thing given by the one who gives it. If one sees that he has given little to someone deserving of being given much, it indicates that this person has turned away from Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He) and from the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

If one asks something of a person in a dream, and sees that he does not give that thing and is angry with the one asking, it indicates that this person is hostile and opposed to religion and has followed the way of those who stir up sedition. Whoever sees that he has bestowed from his own property upon debtors, if he is ill, it indicates his death and the wasteful spending and dispersal of his property. If the dreamer is in good health, it indicates that he will suffer distress and cry out.

The kindness seen in a dream signifies good and benefit to be attained only with regard to the poor. Whoever sees in a dream that he has performed an act of kindness repents of evil deeds. Or he visits his family and relatives, or gives alms to the needy and the poor. Whoever sees that he is praying and beseeching Allah, Most High, is delivered from Hell. If the people of a city afflicted with sorrow and grief see that they have fed the needy and the poor, or that they have performed righteous deeds, Allah, Most High, will deliver them from their sorrow and grief. To show kindness in a dream signifies that oppressors will be removed from office and just men will be appointed.

Ibn Sirin: To see kindness in a dream signifies being praised in the sight of Allah and being loved among people.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
