Growing Taller

To see in a dream that one’s stature has grown taller signifies that one’s station and rank will increase and that one’s knowledge will multiply. If the dreamer is employed in a state office, he will see the good of the work in which he is engaged and his station will rise.

To see in a dream that one’s stature has grown far more than is proper signifies that one will die soon; and to see it become shorter than is proper indicates that one’s life will be prolonged. If one sees in a dream that his stature, which is actually short, has returned to normal, it signifies stinginess.

To see in a dream that one’s stature, which is longer than normal, has become shorter indicates that one will be dismissed from the station he occupies and that his esteem in the eyes of the people will diminish.

According to another narration: Whoever sees in a dream that he has grown taller, his knowledge and wealth will increase. If the dreamer is the ruler of the state, his sovereignty will become stronger and his conduct will be good. If he is a merchant, he will profit in his trade.

If someone sees in a dream that his stature has grown excessively, it indicates that his appointed time is near and that he will fall from the rank he occupies. If a king sees in a dream that his stature has grown taller, that king’s kingdom will endure and he will prevail over his enemies. If he desires dominion, he will attain it.

The growing of stature in a dream signifies longevity. If it grows excessively, it signifies the death of the dreamer. The lengthening of a short stature in a dream signifies sedition. At times, it also signifies stinginess, and assistance through strength and wealth.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
