Holding On

To see in a dream that you are holding on to a branch so as not to fall from a tree is interpreted to mean that, in protecting yourself, you will rely only upon your own instincts and experience.

To see in a dream that you fall into the sea and hold on to a snake means, as in the interpretation of the proverb, that while seeking help concerning one of your troubles, you will beseech aid from people who would never be expected to help.

To see in a dream that you are holding on to life means that you will find within yourself the energy and motivation necessary to survive.

Whoever holds on to the iron railings of a balcony in a dream will, in waking life, lean upon a firm and trustworthy person. This dream points to a person who supports you with his knowledge, strength, and reputation. Through this person, both your spiritual state in life and your material position will increase.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, spiritual signs, work and responsibility, journey and change should be considered together with the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concluded in the dream.
