Whoever sees himself entering a house that belongs to him will have many children. The spaciousness of one’s house is evidence of abundant sustenance and blessing.

According to Abu Sa‘id al-Wa‘iz: To see a new house being built signifies that one of one’s relatives will die; to see oneself repairing a house in order to enlarge it signifies sorrow. To see oneself demolishing a house in a dream is a sign of calamity.

According to Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi: The house is interpreted as a person’s worldly life. If a poor person sees in a dream that he possesses a new and perfect house, he becomes rich; if he is in distress, he attains relief. If he is an artist, he gains renown; if he is wealthy, his property increases. This dream is auspicious for everyone. To see oneself sweeping and cleaning a house signifies deliverance from sorrow and distress; to see oneself purchasing a house signifies a great benefit; to see filth inside or at the door of one’s house is a sign of the immorality of the members of the household.

If a person sees that a house has carried him, together with the furnishings within it, and that the people are also walking along with it, a calamity will befall the members of that household.
