Human Foot

The foot seen in a person’s dream is his existence. The interpretation of whatever occurs to a person’s feet pertains to his property and his condition. The foot signifies a person’s property, prosperity and straitness, his leader, and that upon which he relies. Therefore, if someone sees in a dream that his feet rise toward the sky and depart and go far away from him, that person’s parents will die.

To see one’s feet green in a dream means that harm will befall the property of the dreamer. Whoever sees that he commits fornication with his foot goes after women in order to earn unlawfully. Whoever sees himself walking barefoot will be visited by distress, hardship, and sorrow.

If one sees in a dream that he eats a person’s foot, it signifies the path that will bring that person nearer to Almighty Allah. All his needs in matters of religion and this world will be fulfilled. Whoever sees his feet burning will undergo a change in what he possesses.

To see in a dream that one’s feet have disappeared signifies goodness and benefit for a guest, and becoming a leader because one is fit for leadership; for sailors, a journey of great benefit; for the poor, the appearance of the good things they hope for; and for the rich, distress and illness. For one who has weak sight, it signifies the loss of the light of the eyes; and for dangerous people, imprisonment, grief, and blame.

If a person sees in a dream that one of his feet has become stone, one of his feet will dry up and he will be unable to benefit from it. Whoever sees his foot cut off will lose half of his property. The two feet signify one’s parents.

To see in a dream that one’s foot is elevated or that one has many toes signifies strength and honor. If he sees that both his feet have been cut off, his property and livelihood will depart from his religion, and it sometimes indicates the death of the dreamer.

Whoever sees his foot broken in a dream should ask Almighty Allah for well-being. Some interpreters said that if the person who sees this dream is ill, it indicates his death. If a person sees in a dream that one of his feet is much longer than the other, he will set out on a journey, and it signifies assistance. If he is wealthy, he will become ill and will need someone to attend to his affairs and make him walk.

If a person sees in a dream that he has four feet, then, if he is poor, he will set out on a journey, and it signifies assistance there. If he is wealthy, he will fall ill. It sometimes also signifies a long life or riding a mount. For a sick person, this dream signifies death. If a person sees himself walking on one foot, it signifies the loss of half of his property, lifespan, or affairs. Whoever sees himself walking on three feet will have a very long life, or, because of an illness that will seize him, he will not die before walking with a staff.

To see in a dream that one’s feet are made of iron signifies that the dreamer will have a long life and a good livelihood; to see them made of glass or crystal signifies the shortness and weakness of his life; and to see them made of gold signifies that he will keep running after property that has departed from him because of a debt or for another reason.

To see in a dream that one’s foot is made of silver signifies continually going after women; to see it made of copper signifies becoming bankrupt; and to see it made of tin signifies numbness occurring in one of his limbs, or paralysis causing half of his body to remain motionless.

To see in a dream that the flesh of one’s feet has gone signifies extreme old age. The toes of the two feet signify righteous deeds. To see the heaviness of one’s feet signifies that the person strives to commit sins and that punishment will befall him. Some interpreters said that if a person’s feet are heavy in a dream, his condition will change.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
