Infidel

To see an unbelieving person in a dream signifies an enemy; an aged infidel, a crafty and old enemy; and to see an unbelieving woman signifies a joy of which others cannot become aware.

To see oneself an infidel in a dream signifies ingratitude toward the blessings of Allah; and for one engaged in agricultural work to see himself as an infidel signifies scattering seed upon the earth and covering it.

To see an infidel in a dream is interpreted as an enemy. An infidel seen in a dream signifies an enemy. If a person sees an aged infidel in a dream, his enmity signifies an old enemy.

If a person sees in a dream that he himself is an infidel, it signifies that he denies the blessings of Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He). If a person sees that he has been transformed into an infidel, it signifies that his creed accords with the kind into which he has been transformed. If a farmer sees himself as an infidel in a dream, it signifies that he will sow seed.

Ibn Sirin: To see an irreligious or faithless person in a dream signifies plunging into sin, following innovation, turning away from the commands of Allah, or having evil companions around oneself. If the dreamer himself has become irreligious, it is interpreted as falling into doubt concerning religion or committing a grave sin. At times, it also signifies being deceived by the allurements of the world and forgetting the Hereafter.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, emotional life, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
