Insect Sting

To see an insect sting in a dream indicates that the dreamer has enemies. It signifies that he will be exposed to the evil of those who remain close to him and lie in wait for him to make a mistake. Whether the dream is auspicious or inauspicious is interpreted according to whether the stinging insect is venomous or evil.

For this reason, the interpretation of seeing an insect sting in a dream cannot in fact be described as a very good dream. It may also be interpreted as attracting calamity and becoming entangled in every kind of misfortune. Furthermore, an insect sting in a dream indicates that the dreamer will experience certain health problems in his waking life and that he must therefore pay attention and take care to preserve his health over the next several days.

To see in a dream that one’s hand is stung by an insect indicates that the dreamer’s enemies are persons who are quite close to him. An insect sting from behind signifies that he will be exposed to people’s hypocrisy and jealousy. However, a sting upon the hand indicates that those persons face him directly and are among those nearest to him. Therefore, the dreamer must be wary of his close circle of friends in his working life, of those in his school life who smile to his face yet seek to dig a pit for him behind his back, and of his nearest relatives and neighbours.

What it means for the dreamer’s hand to be stung by an insect is that, within a short time, he will suffer betrayal from someone closest to him. It indicates that the person will surrender something from his own life, whether a loss of property, a loss of success, or a loss of health. What is important here is to take the dream as a warning and exercise caution toward those around him. Thereafter, through the dreamer’s precautions, he will restore order to his life within a short time.

To see in a dream that an insect bites and draws blood does not, alas, invalidate the dream, despite blood having been seen. It means that the person will be subjected to slander. The dreamer, betrayed by someone closest to him, will be slandered and suffer serious losses in respect of his health. He will also suffer serious financial losses. Moreover, he will be humiliated before those around him. Seeing blood in this dream does not mean that the dream is spoiled; rather, it means that negative interpretations are being summoned into the dreamer’s life.

To see in a dream that an insect stings and that it hurts signifies that the dreamer will suffer a betrayal, that this betrayal will truly wound him, and that his hopes will be shattered. It also indicates that the dreamer will suffer an illness concerning his breathing or related to disorders of the skin. If the dreamer feels this pain most deeply at the moment of the dream, then in truth he will experience the pain of disappointment, either because of a health problem or because of the adverse condition brought about by being betrayed.

To see blood flowing after an insect has stung in a dream, and to see this blood, is unfortunately interpreted as an unfavourable dream. The reason is that, since an insect sting is an evil condition, seeing such things as blood emerging from the place that was stung and poisonous, black pus flowing from it is also regarded as a great sign for the dreamer to put his life in order.

What does it mean to see in a dream an insect bite from which blood flows? There are also interpretations such as gossip, jealousy, and a quarrel among women. A quarrel among women arising from competition in working life, or a quarrel among women in the sense of jealousy arising between friends, is possible.

Furthermore, if the person who sees an insect sting and blood flowing from it in a dream is married, this indicates that she or he will have a quarrel with the mother-in-law. The stinging insect mentioned here represents the dreamer’s mother-in-law. It signifies that she will humiliate the dreamer with her words, that the mother-in-law will emerge victorious from the quarrel, or that she will disgrace her daughter-in-law or son-in-law before those around them.

According to the Diyanet interpretation of an insect sting in a dream, it is a sign that the person has certain aspirations. He will be obliged to postpone these aspirations because of the health problems he will experience. The Diyanet interpretation of an insect sting in a dream indicates that, in order to have a blessed life, the person must beware of those around him who speak behind his back and seek to dig a pit for him.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
