Failing to receive recompense for one’s labor in a dream: Whoever sees in a dream that he has not received the return for his labor, this means that in his daily life he is either experiencing or will experience the distress thereof. It is beneficial, for the health of the soul and body, that he enter into work where he may receive the return for his labor, or arrange his relationships accordingly.

Ibn Sīrīn: Seeing labor or work in a dream signifies striving for sustenance and showing patience and steadfastness.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.
