The lung seen in a dream signifies a reflection of the soul. Thus, if a person sees in a dream that his own lung gives off a foul odor, this means that the end of that person’s life has come.

At times, seeing a lung in a dream is a sign of a life full of joy and happiness. Some interpreters have also interpreted the lung as wrath and woman.

To see oneself eating a lung in a dream, if the organ one eats belongs to an animal whose meat is lawful and edible and it is cooked, signifies joy and a fine gift that will come into one’s possession. Likewise, the soundness of the lung seen in a dream is a sign of long life; whereas its impairment is a sign of a short life.

To see oneself eating the lung raw in a dream signifies unlawful property; splitting open one’s chest and removing one’s lung signifies, of one’s own accord, distress and inward anguish; and seeing that the lung is twofold signifies an increase in peace and relief.

If a person sees in his dream that a lung has been given to him, then, if he knows the one who gave him the lung, he will receive from him news that will gladden him and derive benefit from him; but if he does not know him, a kindness that will gladden him will come to him from someone unknown to him. Seeing a fresh lung in a dream is interpreted as the presence of a woman.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
