Ibn Sirin: In a dream, seeing oneself swear by the name of Allah before someone indicates that this person will deceive him. Seeing oneself swear by the stars, the signs of the zodiac, or a physical sign denotes arrogance, deception, humiliation, hypocrisy, or heedlessness. If one is truthful in his oath in the dream, it indicates that he will prevail in his case, speak the truth, or perform a deed that will please Allah Most High. Seeing oneself swear by Allah concerning a matter requiring expiation denotes adhering to the truth and imitating the example of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.
