Seeing narcissus in a dream signifies a woman, joy and delight, and property consisting of gold and silver. To see oneself wearing a crown of narcissus blossoms signifies a marriage that will be short-lived, or the death of the spouse of the person who sees this crown upon his head; seeing a narcissus blossom in a garden or flowerpot signifies a long-lived child, while seeing this flower cut signifies the death of the child. It indicates a union with a good and beautiful person.

The interpretation of seeing narcissus in a dream is a perceptive, well-intentioned, generous, and gallant person. It is also interpreted as joy.

According to Daniel (peace be upon him): Seeing narcissus in a dream signifies meeting and marrying an elegant and beautiful young man.

According to Ibn Sirin: Seeing narcissus in a dream signifies meeting and finding agreement with a sweet-spoken, sociable, and beautiful woman.

According to Jabir al-Maghribi: Seeing narcissus in a dream signifies a faithful friend. Whoever sees in his dream that he smells narcissus will receive good news and a fine gift. Whoever sees narcissus growing from the ground will have many children.

According to Ibn Kathir: Whoever sees narcissus in a glass gives thanks to the Exalted God for its beauty and earns spiritual merit.

According to another narration: Narcissus seen in a dream signifies a woman. Therefore, whoever sees several narcissi upon his head will enter into a marriage that will not continue; seeing narcissi in gardens signifies a long-lived child; and seeing it cut signifies the death of the child.

Some interpreters said that whoever sees narcissus in a dream attains joy. Others said that narcissus is property consisting of gold and silver. They said that the yellow narcissus signifies a gold coin, and its white variety a silver coin.

If a woman sees in a dream that she has a crown of narcissus upon her, that woman will be in a marriage that will not continue. If she is married, it signifies that her husband will divorce her or that her husband will die.
