The interpretation of seeing a pantry in a dream signifies the good and evil intentions that a person conceals within himself, and the beauty and ugliness of his morals and nature. An unused pantry signifies the renewal of an intention and desire; a pantry sometimes denotes a deceitful undertaking or words and conduct intended to deceive. If it is empty, it signifies financial hardship concerning the household. If it is full, bright, and clean, it signifies good fortune concerning the household.

Seeing a pantry in a dream is interpreted as deception. To see that the pantry in one’s house is filled with provisions and food signifies that one has accumulated unlawful property through deceit; to see that one’s pantry is empty signifies that one lives by being content with the sustenance bestowed by Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).

According to Salimi, seeing a pantry in a dream is interpreted as a woman who keeps her secret. To see that there are certain things in a pantry or storeroom indicates that this person has some secrets. If the pantry or storeroom is empty, the thing expected from that woman cannot be obtained.

According to another narration: Seeing a pantry in a dream signifies the deception that the dreamer will practice upon another, or the deception he will employ through words against someone out of fear of that person’s wrath. It sometimes also signifies the good and evil things that the dreamer conceals within himself, and the beauty and ugliness of his morals and nature. The beauty of the pantry signifies the beauty of the dreamer’s morals and body; its ugliness signifies the dreamer’s vain desires and the badness of his morals.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has an unused pantry in his house, it signifies the renewal of his intention and desire between himself and Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He).

Ibn Sirin: Seeing an underground grain storehouse in a dream signifies a compassionate mother, a solitary parent, or a wet nurse. This interpretation derives from the example of the fetus in its mother’s womb being dependent upon her for nourishment. After the stored food has been consumed, it becomes necessary to depend upon a new source. Whoever sees in a dream that the underground storehouse has collapsed or has become filled with earth, and whose mother is ill, it signifies that she may die from her illness. If his wife is pregnant, it signifies that she will give birth soon. Seeing a ruined underground storehouse in a dream signifies finding a buyer for one’s grains; the earth filling the storehouse in a dream signifies property. If the stored grain turns into earth in a dream, it signifies that market prices will fall or that an investment will suffer a loss.

To see the storehouse filled with food in a dream signifies that one’s wife is pregnant. If fire encompasses the stored grain in a dream, it signifies that prices will rise. To see a storehouse filled with sugar or dates in a dream signifies that prices will become stable and affordable, but that the type of food stored therein will be scarce and therefore its price will increase. If a sick person falls into an underground storehouse in a dream, it signifies his death, drowning at sea, or encountering an incident of highway robbery. For one who is engaged in a quarrel, an underground storehouse in a dream represents a prison or a visit to a brothel.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
