Pier

To see a pier in a dream means that the affairs of the person who sees it will be put in order and become good. To see the pier collapsing indicates that your affairs will deteriorate and that you will fall into distress.

To see a pier in a dream signifies material and spiritual distress. It is not considered auspicious. A pier in a dream is interpreted as a person upon whom the affairs of the people depend. To see the pier strong and broad signifies that the affairs of the people are proceeding well; to see a rotten, narrow, and defective pier indicates disorder and difficulty in the affairs of the people.

To see oneself standing upon a pier signifies that one has attained a position where one facilitates the affairs of the people; to see oneself repairing or having a pier built signifies helping the people; to see oneself demolishing the pier indicates that one conducts the affairs of the people with difficulty.

According to another account: To see the pier strong and broad in a dream signifies that affairs will proceed well; whereas to see a narrow, defective, and rotten pier indicates that affairs will deteriorate and that there will be difficulty. At times, seeing a pier also indicates setting out on a sea voyage.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
