Isaac (Peace be upon him)

To see Isaac (Peace be upon him) in a dream signifies deliverance from troubles, and that after committing sins you will feel remorse and henceforth become a person devoted to worship. It denotes glad tidings and joy, and attaining honour, esteem, and sustenance by enduring the trials and troubles that will come from elders and relatives. According to another narration: Whoever sees Isaac (Peace be upon him) is rewarded with dignity, honour, and joy.

If he has a rebellious child, it signifies the improvement of that child’s condition.

Whoever sees that he is speaking with Isaac (Peace be upon him), it signifies the abundance of his progeny and important figures who will emerge from that lineage.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has assumed the form of Isaac (Peace be upon him) or has donned his garment will be afflicted with a very severe illness, but will later be delivered from that condition.

To see in a dream that the condition of Isaac (Peace be upon him) has changed is interpreted as blindness. Whoever sees that his condition has changed will become blind. At times, seeing him also signifies deliverance from worry, expansion after straitness, worship after sin, obedience after rebellion against one’s parents, and maintaining ties of kinship.

Sayyid Süleyman: To see Isaac (Peace be upon him) signifies glad tidings, conquest, victory, and spoils. The dreamer will be delivered from the evils of those around him.

Ibn Sîrîn: To see the Prophet Isaac (Peace be upon him) in a dream signifies glad tidings, relief after distress, an obedient child, and a person of knowledge. Whoever sees Isaac, peace be upon him, will suffer a calamity and then be delivered from it, and will attain honour and dignity. At times, it signifies one who has vowed a sacrifice or possesses a vow, longevity, and righteous deeds. Seeing the Prophet Isaac is also interpreted as security from the enemy and a virtuous progeny.

With the right perspective, it can signify restoring balance, recovery, and developing a new understanding.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
