Ishmael (Peace be upon him)

To see Ishmael (Peace be upon him) in a dream signifies following a policy that upholds the truth and taking precedence for the purpose of undertaking the affairs of people in this world and the Hereafter; assuming leadership and speaking words of influence; supporting the construction of mosques, masjids, and similar religious institutions; and worshipping Allah (Exalted is He) with gracious submission.

What does it mean to see Ishmael (Peace be upon him) in a dream? Seeing him indicates a son who is a guarantor and helper to his father. At times, seeing that distinguished Prophet in a dream signifies, for the dreamer, the fulfilment of a promise made by someone.

Sayyid Süleyman: The worth of one who sees Ishmael (Peace be upon him) increases, and he is delivered from need. His wish is granted. According to one narration, he encounters a truthful person.

Ibn Sirin: To see the Prophet Ishmael (Peace be upon him) in a dream signifies the truthfulness of one’s speech, fulfilling one’s word, building a mosque, or assuming leadership. At times, it is interpreted as slaughtering a sacrifice, fulfilling one’s vow, or becoming separated from one’s father and then being reunited with him.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of emotional life and success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concludes should be evaluated together.
