Receiving and Giving a Gift

Sayyid Sulayman and Kirmani (may God have mercy on him) said: To see in a dream that one gives someone a good gift is goodness for both parties. They attain from one another what they desire. If the gift is something evil, both parties suffer harm.

Receiving a gift in a dream indicates that one will marry a beautiful and virtuous woman who has been given a gift. Receiving a gift from an old woman or an old man is auspicious. Receiving a gift from a young man or a young woman does not signify good.

To see in a dream that the gift one has given to someone is rejected indicates that hostility will arise between those two persons.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
