To see relatives in a dream indicates that the dreamer’s circle is crowded, that is, that he has many companions and friends, and that he always receives support from them and solves his troubles through their assistance.

If the relatives seen in the dream are laughing loudly, it indicates that the dreamer will be highly successful in his working life, will take great steps of such a nature that his name will be spoken, will earn very great sums of money, and, as a result, will be spoken of much and favourably by his relatives; it also indicates that, whenever necessary, he will support those of his relatives who fall into hardship and suffer difficulty, and help them overcome their difficult days.

If the relatives seen in the dream are weeping, it is interpreted as meaning that the dreamer will suffer a financial loss at a moment he never expects, and, while he thinks that he is in a condition from which he cannot recover, several people from among his own relatives will support him, through which he will once again recover financially.

As for seeing relatives playing or performing the halay dance in a dream, it is related that the dreamer will conceal property or money from the relatives around him, or will do everything in his power so that his relatives do not learn of the property or money he possesses; however, his relatives will discover this matter and turn their backs on the dreamer.

To see relatives in one’s house in a dream may be a sign that the relatives whom the dreamer saw will visit him at his home in waking life. According to some scholars, it is interpreted to mean that the relatives whom the dreamer saw coming to his house in sleep are remembering him and thinking of him. If the relatives are seen cleaning the house in the dream, it indicates that the dreamer will be gladdened by the relatives he saw in his dream, that very auspicious and happy news will be given to him by those relatives, and that, by this means, the dreamer will obtain something he has greatly desired for a long time.

If the dreamer is married and sees his relatives weeping in his house, it is interpreted to mean that his marriage will be ruined because of the relatives he saw, and that they will attempt to estrange the spouses from one another by introducing discord and mischief between them. If the dreamer is unmarried and sees his relatives weeping in his house, it is related that, because of the relatives he saw, relations between him and his beloved will become strained; and, if he has no beloved, those persons will find him an unsuitable prospective spouse and introduce them, but the dreamer will understand the matter and cease seeing that person.

To see relatives gathered in great numbers in a dream indicates the greatness of the support, strength, and power to be received from relatives. It is an auspicious dream.

The more numerous the relatives seen in the dream, the more secure the dreamer’s backing is. If the numerous relatives seen in the dream are fighting among themselves and the dreamer is unmarried, it signifies that the dreamer will soon take a firm step toward marriage with the support of several of his relatives; and, if the dreamer is married, it signifies that, with the support of these relatives, he will enter a new line of business and earn great sums of money.

If the relatives seen in the dream are all weeping together, it indicates that the dreamer will undertake certain matters not approved by his relatives, yet despite this he will still receive the support of his relatives, even if they are unwilling.

To see relatives dead in a dream indicates that the dreamer will receive from the persons whose deaths he saw glad, pure, and auspicious news for him, and that, together with this news, his life will change in a positive manner.

If the funeral prayer is being performed for the relatives seen dead in the dream, it signifies that the dreamer will provide these relatives with material and spiritual support in waking life and receive their prayers of blessing; for this reason, his affairs will prosper and his paths will be opened.

If blood is seen coming from the relatives whose deaths were seen in the dream, it indicates that these relatives are in truth enemies appearing as friends, that they wish the dreamer to suffer harm, and that for this reason they are attempting to implant discord and mischief in the dreamer’s mind. It also indicates that, if the dreamer does not take heed, he will not be loved by his other relatives through the agency of these persons and will lose the support of his other relatives.

To see a relative’s wedding in a dream is related to the dreamer experiencing favourable developments, meeting new people, and living a happy and spacious life. It indicates that a desire which the dreamer greatly wished for but could not bring about, and which he therefore had cast from his mind with the thought, “It will no longer happen,” will suddenly come to pass, and that his life will undergo a complete change.

If the dreamer is weeping at the relative’s wedding seen in his dream, it is interpreted to mean that in waking life, at a wedding he attends, a meeting, or a crowded gathering he enters, he will meet someone; and, if the person is unmarried, he will take a great, swift, and at the same time auspicious step toward marriage with this person; while, if the person is married, he will enter into a fine business partnership with the person he meets.

If the person marrying at the relative’s wedding seen in the dream is your former beloved, it means that in truth it was auspicious for the dreamer to separate from this person, and that for this reason his fortunes and opportunities of marriage have increased and become more auspicious.

To receive money from a relative in a dream is interpreted in both an auspicious and a non-auspicious manner, and this distinction is made according to the kind of money received. If the dreamer receives paper money from his relative in the dream, it signifies that the dreamer will receive kindness from that relative and that this person will be of benefit to him.

If the paper money received from a relative in the dream is torn and old, it is related that, because of an event or circumstance experienced long ago, the dreamer will be praised by his relatives and hear fine words.

To see coins in a dream indicates burden and distress. If the dreamer receives coins from his relative in the dream, it is interpreted to mean that the dreamer will fall into trouble because of that relative, that this relative will cause him harm, spread false reports about him, and accuse him of things that have no basis in truth. According to some interpreters of dreams, coins also bring the dreamer headaches along with distress.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
