Rest
Seeing rest in a dream is, for the most part, a symbol that opens the way to a constructive development. The principal emphasis is gathered around faith, conscience and inner reckoning, the state of the soul, intuition, and clarity of mind; therefore, the dream should be interpreted according to the feeling a person forms toward that symbol, rather than according to the outward appearance of the event.
Ibn Sirin: To see oneself resting in a dream after toil and weariness signifies wealth after poverty, or a happy marriage after an unhappy one. For a sick person to see himself resting in a dream signifies that his death is approaching and that he will find repose from the troubles and weariness of this world. On the other hand, rest in a dream may also signify misery, anxieties, and unhappiness.
Positive Meaning
It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.
Shadow Meaning
Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.
Advice
In the interpretation, the themes of spiritual signs, inner world and awareness, emotional life, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
