Measure

To see any unit of measure in a dream signifies keeping a secret and deliverance from grief and sorrow. To see the kile, a unit of measure for grain, signifies a wife, guidance, knowledge, and sustenance. To see one who makes measures denotes an extravagant yet just person.

To see a measure in a dream signifies the management of the household and dealing with the people with fairness and fidelity. To see in a dream that one’s measure has been broken, burned, or lost signifies that one’s property will slip from one’s hands; to see oneself measuring something with a measure signifies entering into a great undertaking; and to see one’s measure larger than it actually is signifies that one will go to court over a matter.

According to Kirmani: Whoever measures something with a weight and a measure in a dream acts rightly in his affairs.

According to another narration: To see a measure in a dream signifies grief or deliverance from it, or things measured by a measure, such as wheat and the like, and it points to one who keeps secrets concealed.

To see oneself using a measure in a dream signifies guidance, knowledge, a wife, and sustenance; and, on account of the well-known story of Joseph (A.S.) with his brother, it also signifies grief, distress, and need. The measure seen in a dream signifies loss, accusation, evil, or a year that will pass in hardship.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, inner world and awareness, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
