Seeking Forgiveness (Asking Allah’s Forgiveness)

A person’s seeking forgiveness in a dream signifies abundance in his sustenance. The seeking of forgiveness performed by a person outside of the prayer signifies the length of his life. Seeking forgiveness also signifies assistance and the warding off of affliction. If one sees himself seeking forgiveness in a dream, Allah (Exalted is He) will forgive his sins and bestow upon him wealth and children. If he sees himself remaining silent in an assembly where forgiveness is being sought, that person is a hypocrite.

If a woman sees in a dream that she is told, “Seek forgiveness,” she will commit adultery. Whoever sees himself seeking forgiveness from Allah, it signifies lawful wealth and children. Whoever sees himself seeking forgiveness while facing the qiblah after completing his prayer, his supplication will be accepted.

Whoever sees in a dream that he is facing a direction other than the qiblah commits a sin and repents from it.

Seeing oneself seeking forgiveness in a dream is a sign that his sins will be forgiven and that the gates of Paradise will be opened for him.

Uncertainty, indecision, or a tendency to take on excessive burden may be observed.
