Celestial Signs: Rainbow

To see a rainbow arising in the sky in a dream is interpreted as signifying that exciting events will occur in one’s life.

To see a yellow rainbow in a dream signifies that the person and those around him will suffer illness; to see a red rainbow signifies that war may break out in the near future; and to see a green rainbow signifies that the person will live in abundance and spend his life amid cheapness and prosperity.

According to Jābir al-Maghribī: to see in the sky a sign resembling a red line signifies that the ruler of that place possesses strength and justice; whereas to see that this line is black indicates an unjust environment and that events will occur by which one will fall into a state of weakness.

To see a rainbow in its primary colors and in a brilliant form in a dream indicates that good and auspicious days will come.

To pass beneath a rainbow in a dream is the herald of happiness and success. It means that you will succeed in every undertaking you begin.

It can be read as a sign of easing, receiving support, gaining morale, or a fruitful development.

Underestimating opportunities, succumbing to comfort, or being late may reduce the positive effect.

In the interpretation, the themes of success and reputation, work and responsibility, health and body, spiritual signs, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
