For a woman without a husband to see herself sitting in a dream signifies that she will marry a young husband. According to the place where one sits, it indicates the negative and positive events that will occur in one’s life.

To see oneself sitting in a dream signifies incapacity, weakness, and cowardice. For a widowed woman to see herself sitting in a dream signifies that she will marry a young man. According to one narration, sitting also signifies that one’s affairs will become easier and one’s livelihood will become constricted.

According to another narration: Sitting in a dream signifies that a blessed marriage prospect will appear for you shortly and that your financial difficulties will come to an end very soon.

Ibn Sīrīn: Sitting in a dream signifies inactivity, idleness, failure, disappointment, and paralysis; and for an elderly woman, it may signify ceasing to bear children.
