Ibn Sîrîn: If a person sees in a dream that the skin between his legs has become thin or inflamed, this indicates that he will marry a wealthy woman who will give him her property. To see in a dream that one is peeling his skin or flaying his own skin indicates property that will pass out of his hands; and if he is ill, it signifies his death.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
