Spear

To see a spear in a dream signifies profitable trade, gainful earnings, mighty sovereignty, or a male child, and wealth. If a weapon is found together with the spear, it signifies an increase in strength and sovereignty; the spear sometimes denotes truthful testimony, a wife, and travel, or a brother, or a friend who wards off harm from a man.

To wound someone with a spear in a dream signifies attributing an evil deed to that person; to fight one’s enemy while bearing a spear signifies boasting of one’s weapon or spear, or unlawful property. To see oneself holding a spear while mounted upon a horse signifies honour and exaltation, authority and wealth; to see the iron at the tip of the spear signifies affairs from which it is difficult to extricate oneself, or death; the writing of a spearman signifies polemics, disputation, and argument, and indicates enmity and war.

To see a spearman in a dream signifies a poet and man of letters, one who does good to his brothers and companions, or one who oversees matters of instruction and discipline.

If there is neither a weapon nor iron, it signifies a strong and stern child, or a profitable trade, or gainful earnings. If the one who sees the spear is poor, he shall become wealthy. If he is wealthy, his property and wealth shall increase. He shall prevail over his enemy, and his affairs shall be perfected in proportion to the excellence of his weapon.
