Saliva

Seeing saliva in a dream signifies a person’s strength and power, and increase in speech, knowledge, and wealth. Spitting upon the ground indicates purchasing property or committing an ugly deed; being unable to spit despite swallowing indicates that, although one aspires to do what his peers do, he is incapable of it.

Spitting upon a person in a dream signifies slandering that person; spitting upon a tree signifies retracting one’s word; spitting upon a wall signifies spending wealth in the path of Allah or engaging in trade; hot saliva signifies a long life, while cold saliva signifies death; the drying of saliva in the mouth signifies poverty; and abundant saliva signifies sorrow and grief.

Seeing saliva issuing from one’s mouth in a dream signifies the false words one is uttering, and the lies and slanders he has fabricated. Saliva represents a person’s wealth and power. Whoever sees himself spitting somewhere will purchase a tract of land or an income-bearing property. Whoever sees himself spitting upon a tree retracts his word or breaks his oath. Whoever sees himself spitting upon a person slanders that person.

Seeing one’s saliva as hot in a dream signifies a long life; seeing it as cold signifies death. The drying of saliva in the mouth is poverty. Saliva signifies increase in speech, knowledge, or wealth. At times saliva signifies ease and seeking comfort through marriage, and at times it signifies health and illness.

Whoever sees that his saliva has changed will have wickedness and corruption in his character; and whoever sees that his saliva has ceased will be interpreted as having his pleasure and comfort cut off and losing his child. Seeing abundant saliva signifies sorrow, grief, and hardship.

If one sees himself spitting in a dream, evil words will issue from his mouth. If there is blood or phlegm in his saliva, he will utter a word that is not lawful for him. Whoever sees himself spitting in a person’s face will utter from his mouth a word whose utterance is not permissible.

The drying of saliva signifies poverty and weakness. Saliva mixed with blood indicates acquiring unlawful wealth or speaking false words. Swallowing another person’s saliva may indicate deriving benefit from him.
