Choking / Being Choked

Nabulsi’s Dream Interpretations: If a person sees in a dream that he has been suffocated, he will suffer on account of the trust and guardianship entrusted to him. If his suffocation is due to a suffocating illness, it signifies that he will be tormented because of something he acquired through oppression.

Whoever sees that he has died by drowning, this indicates that he will suffer distress and become poor.

Whoever sees that he has come back to life after dying will become poor, and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, will recompense him and make him wealthy. He will prevail over the person who torments him.

If a person sees that he has strangled himself by hanging, it signifies grief and sorrow, and that he will not reside in that person’s house or in the place where he saw himself hang and strangle himself. If the rope with which he strangled himself was tightening him excessively, it means that he will be removed from that trust and guardianship and will be called to account for the recompense and wage of what he did.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has contracted whooping cough, this indicates that he will leave the comfort of his house, or leave his inn and shop in ruins.

It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.

Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.

In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream, and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
