The Sultan’s Tent
To see the sultan’s tent in a dream signifies the sultan. Whoever sees the sultan’s tent will prevail over the sultan’s enemy. If a person sees in a dream that the sultan’s tent has been erected, this indicates seeing a king who draws forth the sultan’s soldiers and army. For tents are kings. The same applies to seeing the tents made of hair called fuatat. However, the interpretation of that tent is below the interpretation of the sultan’s tent. The black tent called a dome takes its interpretation from the tent called fuatat. The felt tents of those who live in the wilderness are, in interpretation, below the hub, that is, the centre.
To see in a dream the sultan emerging from one of these tents indicates that the sovereignty will lose one winter. According to another interpretation, it is explained as the crops and labours being lost. If the tent is folded up, his sovereignty, wealth, and property will depart from his hand, or his life will come to an end.
If the colours of the tents seen in a dream, such as the sultan’s tents, the fustat tents, and the dome tents, are green or white, this indicates goodness and beneficence, or visiting the graves of martyrs and righteous people, or visiting Bayt al-Maqdis.
Positive Meaning
It provides early awareness; the person sees risks before they grow and can choose a more solid path.
Shadow Meaning
Neglect, haste, untrustworthy people or uncontrolled behavior can increase the difficulty.
Advice
In the interpretation, the themes of work and responsibility, emotional life, success and reputation, the emotional tone in the dream and how the symbol concludes in the dream should be evaluated together.
